Isaac's field trip, Silver Glen Springs and MUCH more ;)

This cool owl was in our backyard on Easter!  Isn't he beautiful?  (I have become like my Dad who we use to fondly refer to as "Nature Boy" while growing up. I wouldn't go so far as to call myself "Nature girl" but I have pointed out sunsets, pretty trees, fluffy clouds, and beautiful blooms to my children…and it's a slippery slope from there, my friends, slip-per-eee slope.)

Isaac's class went to Homosassa Springs.  He and his buddy Lane wanted to hang out.  That was fine w me cause that meant I got to hang out w his mama, Charity. :)
Lu (short for Lucifer I am pretty sure…ODD.) the Hippo

For this picture I knelt down to be by the Co and simultaneously lodged my long toe toenail under a sliver of the plank of wood walk way.  And that wasn't the bad part.  It was when I lifted my foot and separated the nail from the toe that KILLED.  Blood and all.  Good times.  Not to mention this was the day when when I left my phone AND camera at home accidentally.  I felt like I left my arms at home.  I was miserable.  I admit it.  I am ashamed that I am so dependent on my phone…but I am.  Mainly that camera part.  Charity took pics for us.  That helped ease the pain…a little. ;)

So one day I was shopping online for a mothers day gift for my mom.  And while shopping thru possibilities on I saw THIS:
MY LITTLE BOY ON THE NOTEPADS FOR SALE!!!!  Daniel ordered these for me several years ago for my birthday.  CRAZY!
This was left over from when mom and dad came for Easter. :)
Let the decisions of paint colors begin…to stress me out COMPLETELY.  This may have been when I started begging people to just surprise me with the renovation.  AHHHHH!

Dad and Daniel helped stain the front door.  And we spray painted the lights black.

I made this for the Art auction at MSA.  Didn't take too long. But since all items were in the live auction and we were at the end…it didn't get much money.  And I can't blame people.  Not very well done.

Here's sweet Huddy!  Four months old!!
We went to Silver Glen Springs w the Tolers one day.  So fun to snorkel and play there.  The water was COLD.

Beautiful sunset on the way home.

The next day we headed to the beach w the Phillips! :)

on the way home we stopped at the funky shop we always see but never stop at. :)  Neat stuff!

Renovation begins, Easter and family

Here we go!  Started w "Let's just paint these cabinets and take out the pantry" to a much more extensive plan (as you will see).  I would love to give you all the details but it's all a bit of blur to me now!  You'll see it go down step by step.  Maybe at the end of the reno I will give a before and after post.  Who am I giving this to?  Well, mom and Dan and Alli…and myself 10 years from now when I have forgotten what even happened at all. :)  I do remember that when they took down the drywall there was a LARGE plumbing pipe in the wall of the pantry.  SO…that was the first of several "surprises" along the way.  All part of the "fun."

This (above) is the Co's laundry pile.  Bless his little "never changing his undies" heart!

Jean in her sunglasses. :)
